You can set up the Emma Powerbase as a stand alone base, to fit within an existing bed frame, or on top of your existing platform.
As a stand alone option, simply attach the 12" stackable legs to the bottom of the base, connect the frame to a powersource, and you're good to go!
To fit within an existing bed frame, check the height of your bed frame, and adjust the height of each stackable leg accordingly. Afterwards, remove any slats from your existing bedframe before placing the Emma Powerbase inside.
To go on top of your existing bed frame, just make sure that your current platform can support the weight of the Emma Powerbase. If it can, feel free to place it on top of your platform. Currently, our Upholstered Platform is compatible with the Emma Powerbase.
The Emma Powerbase comes with a 2 button wired remote that allow you to adjust the head of your mattress.
It also comes with power-outage protection features and silent drive motors to enable quiet adjustments to your sleep position.
- Remember to evenly distribute your weight when using your adjustable base.
- Lower your Emma Powerbase to the flat (horizontal) position in between presets and after use.
- If spills occur, you could wipe it off with a moist towel, but be careful not to wipe over any electrical components. Be sure to dry the Powerbase after cleaning.
Yes they are! Our Emma mattresses are compatible with adjustable bases. For the Emma CliMax Hybrid in particular, its individually pocketed coils make it flexible enough to handle even the zero gravity position option!
